Children’s Centre Thunder Bay (CCTB) provides assessment and treatment to youth between the ages of 13 and 18, who are experiencing or are at risk for social, emotional, behavioural, and/or academic difficulties. CCTB works with youth and their families to ensure that they receive the effective intervention and support that they need to improve their mental health and overall well-being.
CCTB collaborates with youth and their families, offering support to optimize their mental health and well-being through enhanced coping skills, increased knowledge, and improved interpersonal relationships.
The programs offered by CCTB for youth may include individual counselling, family intervention, and a wide range of other specialized treatment options which address mental health needs, as well as issues that may present during adolescence, including (but not limited to) anxiety, depression, substance use, identity, and sexuality.
