Children’s Centre Thunder Bay (CCTB) provides assessment and treatment to children between the ages of 7 and 12, who are experiencing or are at risk for social, emotional, behavioural, and/or developmental. CCTB works with families to ensure that their children receive the effective intervention and support they need to improve their mental health and overall well-being.
CCTB collaborates with parents and families, offering support to optimize their child’s development through enhanced coping skills, increased knowledge, and improved parent-child relationships.
The programs offered by CCTB for children in this age group may include individual counselling, family intervention, and a wide range of other specialized treatment options which address mental health needs.
