Since its creation on April 1, 1988, through the merger of Lakehead Family Services Centre and the Regional Children's Centre, the Children's Centre Thunder Bay has served the community for over 35 years. We're now a leading provider of children's mental health, developmental, and family support services in the region, with more than 150 professionals delivering accessible and impactful care.

What You'll Do

As our Chief Executive Officer, you will:

Who You Are

You are a collaborative, forward-thinking leader with:

  • Executive-level experience and a track record of strategic success.
  • Strong capability in stakeholder engagement and board collaboration.
  • A strategic thinker who values culture, equity, and innovation.
  • Proven leadership in non-profit or mission-driven organizations.

What You Bring

  • Master's Degree in a Human Services field; a second Master's or PhD is considered an asset.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in the provision of human services to children, youth, and families.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of senior leadership experience.
