Who We Are

Children's Centre Thunder Bay (CCTB) is a multi-service organization that provides a variety of children's mental health, child development and parenting services to infants, children, youth, and their families living in City and District of Thunder Bay.  The focus of our services is on addressing children's social, emotional, behavioural, developmental, and mental health needs in the context of the child's family, learning environment (childcare program or school) and larger community.   

Under the governance of a volunteer Board of Directors, our Management Team provides leadership to more than 150 professionals from fields such as child and youth work, social work, psychology, early childhood education, speech and language, occupational therapy, developmental services and nursing. 

As a team, we have a shared commitment to service excellence in the prevention, assessment, treatment, support, research, and educational services that work to improve the quality of life for infants, children and youth. 

Children's Centre Thunder Bay is proud to be accredited by the Canadian Centre for Accreditation (CCA) which offers a third-party review process that is tailored to community-based organizations. CCA accreditation is based on widely accepted best practice standards that promote continuous quality improvement in governance, management, and child and youth mental health services.
