A Bright Future by Justin C.

This logo symbolizes the community's strength, support, and commitment to youth. The Sleeping Giant represents resilience and protection, while Lake Superior reflects the nurturing guidance of the community. The sun embodies Northwestern Ontario's vibrant energy, inspiring growth and renewal. Together, these elements create a united environment where youth can thrive and reach their full potential.

In the Shadows of the Giant: Healing with Nature
by Cameron P.

It symbolizes a wish of healing and togetherness within our community, both now and into the future.

The Sky is Ours by Emilio S.

One of my most memorable experiences in Thunder Bay was witnessing the northern lights for the first time. As everyone gathered to watch, it felt like time stood still and we were all kids again, chasing the colors in awe. Through this logo, I aimed to capture that sense of wonder, movement, and the vibrant energy of the lights dancing above us.

The Future of Thunder Bay by Saturn L.

Recently, I participated in The Power of Us: Youth Takeover conference. As an activity during the conference, we painted our vision for Thunder Bay's future. I painted people holding hands around a medicine wheel to represent friendship, members of LGBT+ and Indigenous communities. The land is important to me, so I included the Sleeping Giant in the background. This is a digital art rendition that was inspired by the minimalist art style of other logos affiliated with Children's Centre.

The Circle of Hands by Kendra R. (Acrylic Markers, Markers on Paper version)

This image represents joining hands of all races, genders and walks of life. Each hand is equal with their own unique characteristics that represents how we can support each other but still be true to who we are. In the middle of the hands is the sleeping giant, "Nanabijou" - iconic image of Thunder Bay but also acknowledging the Indigenous culture and lands we live on. A sunrise, representing a bright future for all youth, as we come together as a community and thrive and grow.
