Oshkiniikidjig Miikanens Youth Group

Oshkiniikidjig Miikanens, Youth Path of Life, is a youth-driven group designed to provide youth ages 12 - 18 with traditional Indigenous programming. Participants learn about community resources, land-based treatments, and cultural practices to support youth healing and connection. Weekly meetings may consist of hosting guest speakers such as Indigenous elders, having a cultural movie night, engaging in traditional cultural practices such as beading, or attending community events such as Lakehead University’s pow wow.

Referrals are accepted through Children’s Centre Thunder Bay, or through any of the U-TURN agencies.
