Student Opportunities

Children’s Centre Thunder Bay supports student placement opportunities across a range of disciplines and professions. We work closely with Lakehead University and Confederation College to provide high quality student placements, practicum, and internships. 

We currently accept student placements in the following areas: 

  • Social Work (Bachelors & Masters) 
  • Psychology (Masters & PhD) 
  • Nursing 
  • Child and Youth Work 
  • Early Childhood Education, Resource Consultants 
  • Developmental Service Work 
  • Speech-Language Pathology 
  • Communicative Disorders 
  • Human Resources 

 
We will accept placements from educational institutions outside of Thunder Bay, however this is considered on a case-by-case basis.
